The sales have been running for a couple of weeks now, but there are still plenty of bargains out there. Many people are unaware of just how affordable flat-panel TVs have become – entry-level Samsung LCDs now sell from as little as 350 GBP, and you can even pick up a 50-inch plasma TV, such as Samsung’s PS-50B430, for a little over 600 GBP. Televisions.com offers plenty of buying advice for novices and experts alike – and once you’ve taken the advice in our TV buying guide on board, you can even compare prices and specifications in the “Shop” section of the site. We’ve written reviews or in-depth previews for all of the TVs you’ll find here.

TVs such as Panasonics hugely popular TX-P 42 G 15 (pictured here) have become much more affordable.

Recent highlights that you might be able to pick up at bargain prices include the Panasonic TX-P 42 G 15 B, which currently sells on PC World’s website for just 750 GBP – this is actually slightly less than the inferior G 10 model sells for. Similarly, LCD fans might like the look of Toshiba’s 37 RV 635 D B, which is available through Amazon for just 375 GBP. Check out our manufacturer overview pages for the main manufacturers – Philips, Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, Panasonic, and LG.
